Restoring the Years
God’s Supernatural Blessing for Seasoned Believers
Based on Joel 2:25: “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten…”
10 Powerful Truths About God's Restoration Anointing
1. God Has a Special Mission for Older Believers
God began dealing with Abraham at age 75 and Sarah at 65, proving that age is when His greatest work often begins. Your most significant assignments may still be ahead.
2. Don’t Accept Curses That Hide in Old Age
Society conditions us to accept physical decline, failing memory, and weakening bodies as inevitable. But curses hide in old age because culture says to accept them. God offers a different path.
3. Abraham’s Supernatural Strength Continued After 100
After fathering Isaac at 100, Abraham remarried after Sarah’s death and had six more children with Keturah. God’s age blessing defies natural limitations.
4. Moses Died at 120 with Perfect Vision and Strength
Scripture records that Moses’ eyesight remained perfect and he possessed the strength of a young man at 120 years old. He walked with God and refused to accept curses.
5. Fight with the Prophecy Given to You
When God gives you a prophecy, it doesn’t automatically come to pass. You must use those words and His promises to fight the enemy and encourage yourself daily.
6. Caleb’s Declaration: “I’m Just as Strong Today”
At 85 years old, Caleb declared he was just as strong as he was at 40. He talked differently than others in his generation and outlasted them all through faith-filled words.
7. Your Words Lead Your Body’s Condition
We often use words to describe what’s happening to our bodies instead of leading our bodies with our words. God gets into your words when you speak His truth.
8. The Valley of Dry Bones Represents Hopeless Situations
God asked Ezekiel if very dry bones could live again. Only God can bring to life what has been dead for many years, including dreams, purpose, and physical vitality.
9. God Has Reserved a Latter End Blessing
Deuteronomy 8:16 promises God will bless His people at the latter end. Some blessings are specifically reserved for older believers who continue walking with Him.
10. Those Who Wait on the Lord Renew Their Strength
Isaiah 40:31 promises that while youth may faint and young men fall, those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, run without weariness, and walk without fainting.
